Makkinga Contractors is actively seeking applications for a Mobile Crusher Foreman to join our team for immediate hire in Thunder Bay.
Qualifications:
- Generic First Line Supervisor Training (mandatory)
- Previous experience in mobile crushing or heavy equipment operations
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel to different project locations
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate mobile crushing crews and operations
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
- Oversee equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Plan, organize, and prioritize daily tasks to meet project deadlines
- Communicate effectively with managers, operators, and other team members
- Travel to various job sites as required
- Track employee hours and ensure accurate reporting for payroll and project management
Additional Information:
- Ability to repair heavy equipment as needed
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Comfortable using tablets and digital tools for reporting and documentation
- Strong communication skills via email, text, and phone
- Ability to complete and maintain Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) when driving commercial vehicles and properly complete inspections
